I must admit, I’m a KopTalk rookie. I only joined back in the summer. I stumbled across it on a Google search. Decided to become a VIP Member. Wasn’t sure if I was wasting my money…didn’t even know who Duncan Oldham was (I know, shame on me!!)
At present, it’s probably the site I now visit MORE than any other!!
Every morning on my way into work, I’m logging in on my mobile. I don’t write many comments, but love reading what everyone else writes. I don’t really know much about other LFC sites. I’ve briefly browsed to them a few times, but to be honest everything I need to know about LFC is on here. It’s GREAT!!!
Mr Oldham, you’ve created a fantastic site… and you know when to kick ass when you need to… I admire you… thank you…
I have been a member now for 2 years and wish to state that this is the VERY BEST LFC site, which publishes the information it feels is credible to publish rather than any old twitter remark picked up that lacks credibility.
Dunk and his members are like a family where we can have genuinely contructive banter but still maintain fairness and respect. The very fact you (haters) take the sword to Duncan and his family I am afraid is unprofessional and totally disrespecftul and does nothing more than confirm that you see Duncans site as a threat to yourselves for some reason.
Anyway I can vouch for Duncan Oldham as running a superb website and as a member I have to say that the level of support I get to queiries is “top drawer”.
Dunk and members share a lot of life matters on here and we all pull together to support one another in times of need.
Well I tell you what Dunk has my and other members total support here.
Lay off our Big Man and let him get on with doing his job.

I’ve been a member for 5 years and in this time have found this site to be top drawer. It amazes me the venom that is spouted on other sites and to be honest a lot of what is said in any other environment would have the publishers banged up for slander. It makes me really angry because In their view this site is a con. Well I don’t feel like I’ve been conned over the last 5 years and I don’t need key protagonists in a pretty geeky internet c*ck waving contest creating a bull$hit moral high ground on my behalf. It’s just a shame that they influence so many pond life ‘fans’ out there who can’t think for themselves.
I use all the LFC sites out there and this is the only one I sign up to (and pay for). It’s worth it because the quality of input from the community is streets ahead of those on the other LFC site zoos out there. The chances are those slagging Dunk off or re-tweeting the lies have never even been members here, but think being anti Koptalk gives them extra supporter ‘stripes’. The thing that really gets me though is that to have the level of interest they do in continually hammering this site some of them must actually be paid up members!! Ignore them. They were probably bullied at school, still live at home and are yet to be intimate with a woman. That’s what the Internet does, gives the weedy little scrotes that are life’s whipping boys a channel to big themselves up.
Keep up the good work. It’s the best con I’ve ever been party to.

* Absolutely top class coverage of the Suarez deal from the early stages when the connection was first muted right through until confirmation by both clubs IMO. Up to the minute information from posters with very good knowledge of the club kept us extremely well informed at all times. Even when information dried up whilst negotiations were taking place, those in the know provided welcome reassurance that the deal was still on track. Dunk, Ranter and Informer are all to be both thanked and congratulated on the level of information provided that, when pieced together, revealed what was going on. A place of (relative) sanity whilst many other LFC boards were going into meltdown regarding whatwas going on.

Dunk published an article stating our board had gone over to the USA for takeover related talks. A couple of weeks later we get the announcement that the US owners of the Boston Red Sox are to hopefully conclude a takeover of LFC.
Kudos to Dunk, because not one other LFC website, or newspaper even mentioned the US link until it happened. Basically they didn’t have an effing clue what was going down.
Dunk did tho, so well in big fella for having credible (high level) sources, and for also putting the information out there.
Here’s my feedback on the site, and why others should join:
* Everyone has different opinions, and there is no hidden agenda. I’ve visited many other LFC forums, and each one has their own little agenda, they all sing from the same hymn sheet & anyone that dares to disagree will be publically slated. Koptalk is totally different, everyone has their own opinion, quite often people don’t agree, and this then creates a healthy mature debate (most of the time)
* Koptalk is very well run (ass licking the big man lol) any support tickets are always answered promptly, and the lovely Lucy never fails to sort things out quickly & properly & is a pleasure to deal with.
* Very useful insider info: Koptalk always seems to have it’s finger on the pulse re breaking news or insider info. Don’t get me wrong, not every insider is right 100% of the time, but 9/10 times you are fed information that is not readily available anywhere else, and is usually from a trusted source on the website. I’ve checked other forums, and never do they have such knowledge, they purely debate on hindsight & regurgitate what’s in the media. Many a time has something been published on Koptalk, only to follow in the press days later, not the other way round like other sites.
* The most impressive thing about Koptalk is the family community, I’ve never met anyone from the site in person, however you can’t help but feel part of a close community, and you always get respect when you post, even if your posts are completely clueless (I’ve posted a few such posts), you rarely get shot down, and if you are unfairly treated by another member, then the Mods will soon intervene, which makes is a nice place.
To summarise, I highly recommend Koptalk to any LFC fans who want to follow the Redmen & get the inside track on their beloved club. Not only can you keep up to date with what’s going on, you can be part of a massive fans community, were you can sit there for hours debating all that’s good & bad about LFC.
I think Koptalk is fantastic and I don’t know how I’d last a full days work without it!! (hopefully my boss doesn’t read this e-mail)
